From his Texas ranching roots to his construction background, John was wired to found 9 Arrow with his wife, Camille, alongside their 9 children. After launching a successful custom home building company, John expanded into land clearing which soon sparked a passion for heavy equipment and rekindled his love for land development.
In 2014, a project with a land developer and surveyor introduced forestry mulching into the business—a service that has since become a premier offering for 9 Arrow.

These 9 Biblical core values are the building blocks of 9 Arrow Land Service, and Christ is our foundation and cornerstone. They are at the foundation upon which we stand and define who we are as a team.
Honor
9 Arrow Land Service deeply values honor and respect. Romans 12:10 reads "Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor." Luke 6:31 says, "And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them." Treating our team and our clients in a manner that is contrary to worldly values creates a healthy working atmosphere benefiting leadership and team members, as well as our customers.
Stewardship
Respecting the environment is of great importance to 9 Arrow Land Service. Psalm 24:1 declares that "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it." The customers we serve and the land we proudly serve are of immense value to us.
Integrity
To have integrity means doing what is right no matter the circumstance. It is choosing the right thing at all times, especially when under pressure. Integrity is most tested in a man when no one is looking. At 9 Arrow, we pride ourselves on maintaining integrity even in the face of potential losses. Proverbs 5:21: "For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths."
Honesty
At 9 Arrow, we value the truth in any and every situation. We will always communicate clearly and honestly with our team and clients. 9 Arrow is committed to being just and honest in every facet of our scope of work, from estimating to on-site performance. "Proverbs 16:11 "A just balance and scales are the Lord's; all the weights in the bag are His work."
Trust
Trust is paramount in our relationships at 9 Arrow. It is our greatest honor to have the trust of our business partners and customers. We look at each project as if it were our own, and we do not take gaining the trust ofothers lightly. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" Proverbs 3:5-6.
Gratitude
Maintaining a posture of humility and gratitude is at the heart of the 9 Arrow team. We wake up each morning sincerely humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve our customers and team members. The Lord sustains us, and we remain ever aware that it is only because of Him that 9 Arrow has grown into where we are today. James 1:17 reminds us, "Every good and perfect gift is from above..." and Micah 6:8 speaks to humility. "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God."
Service
Service is woven into our company name intentionally. Servant leadership is modeled by Christ, as an integral component of all we do. 9 Arrow is intentional in our desire to serve others well. Our team seeks to serve our customer's needs with a commitment to complete any task set before us, large or small. Philippians 2:4 "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interest of others."

Pursuit of personal and team excellence in all we do was at the forefront of our minds when we established 9 Arrow Land Service many years ago. Colossians 3:23-24 resonates deeply on the subject of why we seek to pursue excellence at 9 Arrow. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You're serving the Lord Christ."
